Just two months after work began, the long-awaited cycle and pedestrian path that runs along Viale Cesare Biondi and connects the suburbs with the centre of Bugliano has been inaugurated. As many as 800 metres to be travelled in complete safety surrounded by greenery, dedicated to Margherita Hack, the Tuscan astrophysicist who, in her book 'La mia vita in bicicletta' (My Life on a Bicycle), made readers aware of her strong bond with this vehicle.
The Mayor and the entire municipal council, in the presence of the President of the Region, illustrated the characteristics of this new route dedicated to lovers of sport, nature and the outdoors. The benches along the route allow people to take a break to rest, the gymnastic equipment allows them to stop and train, and the lights along the track allow them to walk along it even when it gets dark.
So all that remains is to enjoy this route by bike or on foot, taking advantage of the good weather that is coming.
